Bodegas-Sanchez-Romate-Iberio-Cream-Sherry---Jerez
Bodegas Sanchez Romate Iberio Cream Sherry - Jerez
Food Paring
Arugula crumbled Gorgonzola, fresh pear slices, toasted pine nuts and raspberry vinaigrette. You can always replace Gorgonzola with Cabrales, a superb Spanish blue cheese, or Roquefort, Stilton or Danish blue.
Tasting Tips
A blend of Palomino Fino and Pedro Ximenez. A dazzling appearance of dark mahogany, a fresh aroma, traces of oak, fruity fragrances, smooth, sweet, harmonious on the palate, with a velvety finish.
Winery
Juan Sánchez de la Torre founded the company in 1781 in Jerez to produce fine wines. Today, 225 years on Sánchez Romate is one of the oldest bodegas in Spain and one of the few still in family hands. This has allowed it to maintain its independence and continue making wines in the same time-honoured fashion. This wine, whilst considered non-vintage, has an average age of 6-8 years.
