From 45 year old vines, this 100 percent Tempranillo is the first release from the new project of the Eguren brothers. Aged for 15 months in new French oak, this wine has everything you could hope for from Toro; rich, savoury, dark berries, finishing with spice and dark chocolate.
Winery
The Eguren family has been involved in winemaking in Toro since 1870. They continue to use traditional practices instead of modern machinery. Their wines are held as prime examples of the Toro terroir. The Teso La Monja range are their ''elite'' wines considered the best by the Eguren family. NB: Case Price is for Six Bottles
