This unwooded Chenin Blanc displays a pale straw colour with distinct greenish tinge and pale straw hue. Aromas of Jonathan apple, tropical fruits and spice displaying good intensity. The palate delivers a mouthfilling texture with an abundance of flavour – ripe Jonathan apple, pear, tropical fruit and spice flavours. Excellent weight and concentration. Clean crisp finish with long aftertaste of Jonathan apple, pear and spice

Winery
The Boschendal vineyards cover an area of 254 hectares. Geographically they extend for six kilometers along the slopes of the Groot Drakenstein Mountain towards the Dwarsriver, to the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain. The annual rainfall varies between 1000 - 1250mm of which most is in the period June to September
