Bottled in mid November, the fruit and oak should meld quite quickly and produce a Chardonnay with richness, minerally acidity and excellent varietal definition over the next 4-5 years. Wine Show Awards – 1 Gold , 2 Silver, 3 Bronze
Winery
This is a slightly funkier, modern style than earlier vintages, due to Daniel’s influence and desire to trial new techniques. The 2007 has again been fermented and matured in 225L barriques from a small Burgundian cooperage which produces casks with subtle, complimentary oak sweetness and spice.
