Winery
and “Crianza” is made of Tempranillo but with high quality American oak barrels. There are strict rules in Spain for wines to use the local regional names – “crianza” (sometimes pronounced “cree-antha”) means that the wine has been matured for at least two years after harvest before release, and a significant portion of this period (usually 12 months) has been ageing in oak barrels.
