"A wine of great purity and focus, with red fruits, aniseed and, appropriatelyenough, hints of the garrigue. The tannins are very fine and the wine isrounded and charming, its ripeness finely tempered and nicely managed."
Winery
Montirius is a certified organic and biodynamic winery run by Christine and Eric Saurel. Whilst the winery has been in the family for five generations, it has only been truly organic and biodynamic since 1980. Max Saurel, Eric''s father had a premonition about the negative effects of using chemical fertiliser on the land, and he stopped their application.
