Danielle-de-lAnsee-Sauvignon-Blanc---Loire-Valley
Danielle de lAnsee Sauvignon Blanc - Loire Valley
Food Paring
Goat's cheese, white fish.
Tasting Tips
It’s fairly subdued with gentle aromatics of light fresh tropical fruit (something along the lines of pineapple/green melon/kiwifruit), creamed honey and subtle grassy herbal character. On the palate it’s mid weight with a subtle creamy lees texture, balanced unobtrusive acidity and a little bit of flinty grip. Finishes with a bit of flintiness on exit.
Winery
Danielle de lAnsee is the trading name used by the Gibault family whose 15 hectare Domaine Gibault is one of the leading small high quality producers of Touraine. The domaine is situated at the eastern end of Touraine on a terroir that enables Pascal Gibault to produce very aromatic whites and full soft reds. The cellar and its equipment is modern and pristine. NB: Case Price is for six bottles
