This full bodied wine that was produced fron our 40 year old vines diplays the typical Granite Belt Shiraz characters. Intense black pepper on the nose leads into a palate of spicy rich fruit cake, firm tannins and a soft finish. Drink now for firmness or allow to soften for 5-8 years.

Home of the Costanzo family who''s rich Italian Heritage is reflected in sumptuous and rich wine. The first shiraz vines were planted in the 1970s, followed by a full planting program of other classic wine grapes. The altitude of 820m and cool summer climate make the area ideal for growing classic wine grape varieties - perfect for producing award winning wines. Golden Grove Estate was rated 4.5 stars in the James Halliday 2010 wine companion and is now one of only three wineries in the state currently rated 4.5 stars and above.
