Tasting Tips
In honour of Ken Mackenzie, businessman, farmer, pilot and benefactor. “Stork” was Ken’s wartime nickname (being a pilot and as he was tall with long thin legs!). Full-bodied wine with black fruits, cherries and hints of violets. Quality oak is very much in the background and the wine has a long, lingering aftertaste. Can be drunk young but has cellaring potential.

The Hartenberg Estate has been cultivated since 1692. The winery has a colourful history, with historical connections to the Dutch East India Tradia Company.
