The characters of the Granite Soils have come through in this single vineyard chardonnay. This vineyard has produced several trophy winning chardonnays in the last five years. This wine was barrel fermented and spent 9 months in quality French oak. This wine was recently awarded : Trophy for Top White Wine at the 2010 Queensland Wine Awards, with Head Judge Neil McGuigan commenting that "This Chardonnay is absolutely world class". This is a must try for lovers of fine, elegant and complex chardonnays.

Robert Channon Wines is producing some of Australia’s finest Verdelho, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon from its family-owned winery and vineyard in the Granite Belt district of Queensland. All of our wine is made at our winery from grapes grown in our cool climate vineyard at an elevation of about 950 metre.
