Tasting Tips
Deep plum red in colour and brilliant in clarity. The nose is complex showing cassis and dark berry fruits overlayed with spicy oak and savoury notes. The palate is rich and concentrated with good fruit and oak integration and balanced acidity. The finish is long finish with soft sweet tannins.
Winery
The fruit for this wine is from our Hill Road and Winery block. Fermented in open top vats with hand plunging. Matured for 18 months in 76 French and 24 American oak barriques. Prior to bottling this wine received a light filtration.
