Tasting Tips
Scents of raspberries and blueberries intertwined with briar patch spices. Ripe raspberry and blueberry flavors persist. A hint of creamy oak and a silky and refined texture with a juicy character. Juicy acidity and integrated tannins smooth the finish.
Winery
Seghesio Family Vineyards was the dream of young Italian immigrants Eduardo and Angela Seghesio who met while each worked at the Italian Swiss Colony Winery in northern Sonoma County. In 1895, the couple purchased the original family home and a 56 acre ranch in Alexander Valley. Today, Seghesio Family Vineyards is a collection of 400 acres of superior vineyard sites acquired over the past century. Vineyards in Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley and Dry Creek Valley were meticulously chosen by four generations of Seghesio winemakers for their diversity and capacity to bear the finest quality grapes.
