Bright deep red colour with fragrant rich black plum, cherry, spice and a hint of liquorice. A vibrant and accessible wine, the palate is full bodied with exquisite layers of berry fruit and earthy notes and complex rich flavours.
Winery
Vynfields is a boutique organic/biodynamic vineyard, located 3 minutes from the Martinborough Village Square, which also offers self-contained accommodation. Vynfields’ owners John Bell and Kaye McAulay are passionate about producing premium Pinot Noir and Riesling wines, handcrafted using traditional methods. Awards include a Gold medal at the Royal Easter Wine Show for our 2003 Pinot Noir and a Gold medal (and Best wine in the Riesling class) at the Bragato Wine Awards for our 2004 Classic Riesling.
