Tasting Tips
Pale straw colour invokes complex lifted aromas with alusciousness rarely found in a young Riesling. A very richand powerful nose, almost glacial causing salivary response overloadpineapples, snow peas, capsicum and kiwi fruit are all present with herbal complexity to boot. The intensity on the palate is huge, rich fleshy primary fruit dances along a tight line of acidity with a hint of talc. Flavours linger for an eternity.. Gold- 2010 Clare Wine Show Silver- 2010. Winery
First produced in 1985, and thereafter every year. The recipe is low-yielding vines grown on stony slopes, and sparingly watered to achieve yields below 5 tonnes per hectare. The grapes are hand picked, and then chilled, before whole bunch pressing.
