Deep garnet red with earthy hues. Lifted notes of all spice, ripe red and black berry fruits. Subtle background oak, interlaced with a slight forest floor aroma, adds complexity to the bright fruit spine. Coffee spice, plums and cedar lie layered amongst the fruit. Great length of subtle and fine tannin grip.
Winery
Yelland and Papps came from the marriage partnership between Susan Yelland and Michael Papps, on October 1st 2005. Susan felt that she did not want to give up her surname entirely, so this way she is able to keep her family name in the business. Michael and Susan decided in 2005 to start making their own wine and were excited about picking small batches of Greenock grapes and producing their own label.
